Dynamic and interactive academics are at the core of our programs, including hands-on-service learning in other cultures. Last semester we worked with seven charitable organizations in four countries spent over 800 hours making the world a better place.

Discover the World: Europe

Spend an exciting semester living and studying in three different countries!  With St. John’s Discover the World program, you will spend five weeks each in Rome and Paris, and then choose from five weeks in either Salamanca or Dublin. In each location students engage the local community by working with unique service learning program.

Rome semester

Our Rome campus will immerse you in the life of the “Eternal City.”  Our coursework — in academic areas such as politics, history and language — takes advantage of the city to provide you with an experience that is culturally rich, academically challenging and inspires an appreciation for European culture.

Summer Programs

Short-term programs provide all the benefits of experiential learning while accommodating students with more specific academic or time concerns. As with all our programs, you’ll make extensive use of the local environment as part of your classroom experience. This year’s offerings will take students to amazing locations, such as China, France and Greece.
